Day by day

1. Day 1

   Arrival in Shanghai

   • On arrival at Shanghai Pudong or Hongqiao airport, meet and greet by your local guide, then transfer to the hotel for check-in.
   • The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
   
2. Day 2

   Shanghai → Hangzhou

   Shanghai · HangzhouBreakfast

   • Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street.
   • The Bund, with an outside view of the Oriental Pearl Tower.
   • Transfer to Hangzhou.
   • West Lake boat ride (included), and an outside view of Leifeng Pagoda.

   Optional (not compulsory): Impression West Lake — RMB 399 per person

   
3. Day 3

   Hangzhou → Suzhou

   Hangzhou · SuzhouBreakfast

   • Meijiawu tea plantation.
   • Transfer to Suzhou.
   • Lingering Garden (Liu Yuan), one of the classical gardens of Suzhou (included).

   Optional (not compulsory): Ancient Grand Canal boat ride — RMB 220 per person

   
4. Day 4

   Suzhou → Shanghai

   • Visit a silk factory to see how traditional silk is made.
   • Return to Shanghai.
   • Explore the Chenghuangmiao commercial area around the City God Temple — a busy street for shopping and street food.
   
5. Day 5

   Shanghai → Zhangjiajie

   ZhangjiajieBreakfast · Dinner

   • Free at leisure in the morning, then fly to Zhangjiajie.
   • Visit Dayong Ancient City.
   • Explore Nanmenkou food street.
   • After dinner, a photo stop at the 72 Qilou landmark, then transfer to the hotel.
6. Day 6

   Zhangjiajie — Tianmen Mountain

   • Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, reached by the Tianmen Mountain cableway.
   • Tianmen Cave.
   • Walk the Glass Skywalk (shoe covers included) and ride the tunnel escalator.
   • The 99 Bends Mountain Road by bus, or descend by cableway.
   • Junsheng Painting Academy, a 3A scenic area.
   
7. Day 7

   Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

   ZhangjiajieBreakfast · Lunch · Dinner

   • Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, going up by the Bailong Elevator.
   • Back Garden, The First Bridge Under Heaven, Mihun Tai and Hallelujah Mountain.
   • The peak wall of Yangjiajie.
   • Tianzi Mountain, Helong Park and Xihai Stone Forest, descending by the Tianzi Mountain cableway.
   • Jinbian Stream.
   
8. Day 8

   Zhangjiajie → Guangzhou

   Zhangjiajie · GuangzhouBreakfast · Lunch · Dinner

   • Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, including the glass bridge and a VR experience.
   • After lunch, take the high-speed train from Zhangjiajie to Guangzhou.
   • On arrival, transfer to the hotel.
   
9. Day 9

   Guangzhou

   • City tour of Guangzhou: Flower City Square and a photo stop at Canton Tower (outside view).
   • Haixinsha Island.
   • Yongqingfang and Bruce Lee’s former residence.
   • Zhongshuge bookstore.
   • Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street.
   
10. Day 10

    Guangzhou → Hong Kong

    • Travel to Hong Kong overland via Shenzhen.
    • One-way transfer to your hotel in Hong Kong.
    
11. Day 11
